emailing or printing your random poem - open your mind - you might fill out your name and email (it is better to send us a separate email for now) random@randomplace.com so that we can know something... who knows maybe this is your lucky day... maybe ?... then mumble a few random words to yourself, pray for me while you're at it you might want to check out @random random poems from random place that are sometimes out-of-sight, in-sight-ful, in-cite-ing, and in-site-ing - well anyway they are @random poems from a yet to be unpublished and probably unpublishable book of @random poems....hmmm we are interested in collaborative poems and will publish them on our site and put them in our @random suspect poem database... especially ones that come from school and library poetry projects.. we are also interested in one liners to be put in a special @random poetry form (watch yer self and yer language - we are self-censored) we are kid friendly... will also randomly choose a poem of the day, someday and our pick of the day as well... well, maybe some other things too... so as Zorba the Greek once said "what is life without a little bit of madness" - if you want to know more on more stuff later press here emailing or printing poems well this is not as easy as i would like it to be... you can't email straight from the form because contrary to popular belief there is really nothing their, they are a mirage in more ways than you can imagine... the cgi-bin script only shows the header and footers... first if you have a better way let me know.. but this works for now... so bear with me... step 1. best way is to save it to your hard drive twice... first as, ie... A. poem1.htm & then again as B. poem1.txt (.txt removes html tags this is a trick that i discovered by my little ole self) step 2. pray - a random rain dance prayer would do... step 3. pull down file menu and click on mail document or print if you are into it A. you could mail it from your own email program too   B. you could also just print it out by clicking on print in file menu step 4. to email it you could send it as an attachment or copy the contents poem1.txt   and then poem1.htm to another file or to your email message make sure you put a line that separates them and says - cut below here if you want to see it   as it was originally in your browser (in color and font size) step 5. put your own email address to test if this works for you before you send an   empty message... come to think of it that might not be a bad title step 6. then here is the tricky part is learning how to dance...   you put your right foot first... well anyway thats how you do   the hokey pokey and this hokus pokus - hmm... see what can happen step 7. last resort random@randomplace.com |
